Besides, the movement is composed of 167 components teamed with 19 jewels. Ticking away in the heart of the case is a beating of 21,600 vibrations/hour, ensuring a 50-hour power reserve. It is also coupled with a flying tourbillon, presenting a C-shaped carriage, used for indicating the seconds. The flying tourbillon is well protected between the bridges and plate of the movement, demonstrated as an amazing design feature.


The carriage conjures up the image of flying over the bridges, as if being suspended above the dial. The technical risks of its exposure to the shocks made the brand's master watchmakers focus on the design of the carriage, to keep the tourbillon's shock-resistance unaffected. Embellished with diamonds, it took the master watchmakers more than 50 hours of work.


The designers from the Cartier powerhouse have skillfully presented us with the combination of the hidden beauty and outstanding functionality of the in-house mechanical movement by uniting jewelry and watch-making skills. In addition, the mechanism touts top-quality finishes, and all parts of the movement is perfectly bedecked with the Geneva Seal.


Delivered by a 44.5mm case, the model is crafted in rhodium-plated 18K white gold and sports a circular-grained crown in the same material. It is also set with a diamond and boasts water resistance of 30 meters. Moreover, the watch is mounted on a black brushed canvas strap, terminated in an ardillon buckle in the same material and teamed with diamonds.
